Schools of Excellence in Prevention
Schools of Excellence in prevention
Students spend five to six hours a day in school making it the optimal place to promote healthy behaviors and student resilience. The mission of Schools of Excellence in Prevention (SEP) is to assist schools with implementing best-practice prevention services and strategies to create healthy, drug-free environments that promote optimal mental health for students, parents, teachers, and staff in the school community. Schools who participate in the SEP program will be able to earn money for their school while implementing quality, research-based prevention programming.
